2 - 2.5mm Undyed Veg Tan Tooling Leather 30x60cm

This is a 30x60cm (1 x 2ft) panel of undyed vegetable tanned tooling leather.

Carefully tanned using time honoured methods, this leather has a firm, even texture, a beautifully smooth surface and a tidy flesh side.

At 2-2.5mm thick this weight is ideal for embossing, dyeing and light / shallow carving.

Veg tan leather is great for wet moulding, as it's fibres become very malleable when dampened with warm water.  

It's also very receptive to leather dyes, and can be treated with a surface finish once you have completed the embossing, carving or dyeing your leather.
