This handy tool is used in conjunction with a mallet and makes 6 holes (5 stitches) with each hit.
The points of this tool are 2mm wide and the gaps are 3mm, so this tool marks stitches of approx 5mm long / 5 stitches to the inch.
Use a cutting board or a piece of waste wood underneath your leather to protect your work surface when making your holes!
