Pigskin is often used for linings in everything from shoes to watch straps, as it has a soft, pliable feel and is skimmed to a fine depth, in this case around 0.8mm. Pigskin is also perfect for hand sewing dolls shoes, teddy's feet, and many other purposes where a very fine leather is required.
This is a 'grain pigskin' which means that it has a leather surface on the front and a soft suede surface on the back.
This is one piece of A4 sized black leather.
PLEASE NOTE: Pigskin is a very loose textured and soft leather, with a natural, unprocessed surface. This means that the surface will show all its original blemishes, scars and hair cells. This is all part of the character of pigskin, so if you are looking for a very smooth and regular leather, we'd recommend you take a look at our Cow Nappa or Italian Calf as alternatives.
