This is a top quality, heavy weight English saddlery leather in an extra long cut, produced by Sedgwicks of Walsall using traditional tree bark tanning methods.
It is approximately 4mm thick and plenty strong enough for horse tack, dog leads and much more.
This is a cut of leather called a 'bridle back' and it is very long, as it includes the neck portion of the cow hide as well as the shoulder to tail section.
These strips measure between 203cm and 229cm long (80" to 90" in Imperial measurements)
We sell this leather in strips that are cut straight from the hide. They are unfinished, ie the edges of the strips have not been treated or polished in any way.
