This is an English made Barnsley brand Japanese style skiver.
The high quality steel blade measures 70mm x 37mm and the handle measures 92mm (3.5") long.
As with most traditional leather knives, this skiving knife will need some sharpening on a fine sharpening stone or file card before first use and regular freshening with a strop and some polishing compound over the years.
