This is a 500 metre reel of bonded nylon machine sewing thread in a soft fawn / beige colour.
This thickness of thread is known as a 40 weight, and is ideal for machine sewing everything from handbags to leather clothing on either a domestic or industrial sewing machine. It works best when teamed with a size 14 or 16 leather point sewing machine needle. (Available here at Artisan Leather)
