This is an economical version of our saddler's round knife. While this knife is slightly smaller at 110mm (4.5") from edge to edge, you can still use it to cut the heaviest leathers.
As with all saddler's knives, you will need to devote a little time to sharpening your new blade to a perfect edge. You can do this with a fine traditional sharpening stone followed by fine tuning on a leather strop with some jeweller's rouge.
Once your knife is sharp and ready to use, you will only need to freshen the edge from time to time with a strop and rouge.
