This is a fixing tool for use with our 13mm ring spring press studs.
The round piece is a base that's used to support the popper components while you hit the handle with a mallet to close two halves of the popper together around your leather. The dented side is used with the cap or 'female' side of the poppers, and to fit the inner 'male' half of the press studs, you just turn the anvil over to use the flat side.
PLEASE NOTE: This tool is not designed for use with stainless steel press studs, which have their own fitting tool.
