The Super Skiver is a sturdy metal tool which houses a very sharp, replaceable blade.
It's used by resting the tool onto your leather and pulling backwards towards you, shaving off a thin layer of leather each time. If you have surplus thickness to remove, we would always recommend thinning the
back off your leather, so that you preserve the surface grain, which is the strongest, most hard wearing part of your leather.
This tool comes with one blade included. Further replacement blades are always available
here.
